Delhi- Ahmedabad High Speed Bullet Train Corridor Project Latest News: Rajasthan is going to get the gift of bullet train very soon.
The total track of the Delhi-Ahmedabad Bullet Train project will be 875 km long. 75 percent of this track i.e. 657 km long track will be built in Rajasthan. The bullet train will pass through 7 districts of Rajasthan, Jaipur, Alwar, Udaipur, Ajmer, Chittorgarh, Dungarpur and Bhilwara. Bullet train track will start from Sector 27 of Dwarka, Delhi. Two stations are proposed in Haryana. These stations will be built in Manesar and Rewari. Then bullet train will take entry in Rajasthan via Alwar. A total of 9 stations will be built in Rajasthan.
Rajasthan is going to get the gift of bullet train very soon. High speed elevated bullet train (Delhi-Ahmedabad Bullet Train) will run between Delhi and Ahmedabad. The speed will be close to 350 kilometers per hour. The Delhi-Ahmedabad stretch will be completed in just 4 hours by bullet train. In Rajasthan, stations are proposed to be constructed at Behror, Shahjahanpur, Jaipur, Ajmer, Vijaynagar, Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, Udaipur and Dungarpur. The survey work of Delhi to Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Corridor by National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited has been completed. In Rajasthan, this corridor will enter Alwar’s Shahjahanpur border. Then parallel to National Highway 48 will go up to Ahmedabad in Jaipur, Ajmer, Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, Dungarpur.
Earlier it used to take about 14 hours to go from Delhi to Ahmedabad. This journey will be completed in just 4 hours by bullet train. The track will start from Sector 21 of Delhi and will enter Gurugram’s Chauma. Then along with Dwarka Express will go till Ramprastha City (Sector 37D). Crossing the Delhi-Jaipur rail line and the KMP Expressway, it will reach the Shahjahanpur toll plaza in Haryana. After this the parallel track of Delhi-Jaipur Express will pass. Officials say that it may take 3-4 years to acquire the land.
Bullet train track will start from Dwarka in Delhi. Two stations are proposed in Haryana. These stations will be built in Gurugram and Rewari. The route of Delhi-Ahmedabad bullet train has been chosen in such a way that the acquisition of land can be done easily. For this, the bullet train track will pass parallel to National Highway 48. Three stations will be built in Gujarat. Total 15 stations are Dwarka (Delhi), Manesar (Gurugram), Rewari (Haryana), Behror, Shahpura, Jaipur, Ajmer, Vijay Nagar, Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, Udaipur, Dungarpur (Rajasthan), Himmat Nagar, Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad (Gujarat). The bullet train track will also pass over five rivers. A total of 337 villages in 7 districts of the state will be affected in this project. The Delhi-Haryana government has approved the proposal of the bullet train project. The work of soil testing and widening of roads has started. However, the final decision is yet to be taken by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs.
