Delivery Date of JioPhone: Distribution of 4G handsets by Reliance to start on September 21?

Jio Phone Delivery Date: After heavy rush, pre booking of Jio Phone was suspended. Reports say that the number of phones already booked are over 6 million.



Here comes a good news for the folks who have already booked JioPhone and are waiting eagerly for the Reliance 4G handset. According to a report in NDTV, deliveries of Jio Phone will begin on September 21 i.e. Navratri. After heavy rush, pre booking of Jio Phone was suspended. Reports say that the number of phones already booked are over 6 million. Still the registrations are on for Jio Phone. The details available so far point out that in order to make the deliveries, a massive exercise has been launched by Reliance by linking in its own workforce as well as logistics companies. To meet the expected rush, delivery of a lakh handsets daily.

Handsets of Jio are being imported from Taiwan. The phones will land in India at various locations, due to which there might be a faster delivery at these locations. Delhi, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Mumbai and Hyderabad are some of the locations where Jio phones will land first.

Specifications of Jio phone

A 2 megapixel rear camera and a front VGA camera in there. There will be RAM of 512 MB and internal storage of 4 GB with an option of expanding it using an SD card to 128 GB. The handset will have a 2.4 inch screen and will have a 2,000 mAh battery.

I booked for jio phone last month 22nd august and on 9th september i paid 1500Rs. as the dealer said on 22nd september he will start getting th e phone but till to-day i have not heard anything aboit if i ask the jiophone dealer he says they have not launched at Bangalore. I do not know whether it is true or false kindly advise me what action has to be taken

  126. There appears to be ambiguity about the DELIVERY DATE in MUMBAI of the Jio Ph either across the store counter off line or even On Line. Need specific delivery sch region/state/area wise to avoid waste of time for all interested.

  127. I have already pre purchased the Jio Sim for me & my wife , since August !! & they are lyiong idle.
    I will ONLY use them in Jio Phones for best performances.
    Need clarity for Delivery Dates otherwise the Sim package will expire and
    we will have to start a New Jio ph wiith a loss of Data Cost.
