The number of workers joining the e-shram portal is increasing continuously. The Ministry of Labor said that the number of people registering on the e-shram portal has crossed 22 crores. The e-shram card received after registration of Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY) will be accepted across the country. Actually, this scheme was started in August last year. How to do online registration
Login by visiting the official website eshram.gov.in.
Click on the link ‘Register on e-SHRAM’ present on the home page.
Enter Aadhaar linked mobile number and captcha code. After that click on send OTP.
Follow the instructions to complete the registration process.
If a worker does not have a mobile number linked to Aadhaar, he can visit the nearest Common Service Center (CSC).

Offline registration process
The workers can visit the mobile app or website of the e-shram portal for online registration. What facilities do workers get
The workers will have a Universal Number (UAN) on the e-Shram Card, which will be accepted across the country. After this, they will not need to register at many places to get social security benefits. The workers who register get accident insurance under the Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana. Two lakh rupees are given in case of accidental death or temporary disability. In case of partial disability, there is a provision of one lakh rupees.
