Bank of Baroda has increased the interest rate on Fixed Deposit. Now customers will get more interest than before.
This hike is effective from 25 February 2022. Above 5 years and up to 10 years interest will be available at the rate of 5.25 percent.
Bank of Baroda (BoB) has hiked interest rates for various fixed deposit tenures. This is applicable from 25th February, Friday, 2022.
FDs maturing in 1 year have been increased from 4.90 percent to 5 percent. Meanwhile, BoB will pay an interest rate of 5.10 per cent to the depositors on Fixed Deposits maturing in 1 year to 2 years.
New interest rates on BoB’s FDs for general public
- 7 days to 14 days – 2.8 percent
- 15 days to 45 days – 2.8 percent
- 46 days to 90 days – 3.7 percent
- 91 days to 180 days – 3.7 percent
- 181 days to 270 days – 4.3 percent
- 271 days and above and less than 1 year – 4.4 percent
- 1 year – 5 percent
- 400 days above 1 year – 5.1 percent
- Above 400 days and up to 2 years – 5.1 percent
- Above 2 years and up to 3 years – 5.1 percent
- Above 3 years and up to 5 years – 5.25 percent
- Above 5 years and up to 10 years – 5.25 percent
New interest rates on BoB FD for senior citizens
- 7 days to 14 days – 3.3 percent
- 15 days to 45 days – 3.3 percent
- 46 days to 90 days – 4.2 percent
- 91 days to 180 days – 4.2 percent
- 181 days to 270 days – 4.8 percent
- 271 days and above and less than 1 year – 4.9 percent
- 1 year – 5.5 percent
- 400 days above 1 year – 5.6 percent
- More than 400 days and up to 2 years – 5.6 percent
- Above 2 years and up to 3 years – 5.6 percent
- Above 3 years and up to 5 years – 5.75 percent
- Above 5 years and up to 10 years – 6.25 percent
