Ola Electric CEO Bhavish Aggarwal has informed through his Twitter account that any customer who drives the electric scooter for 200 km in a single charge, will be given Ola Gerua electric scooter for free.

Free Ola Electric Scooter: Ola will give free Ola Electric Scooter to the customers driving electric scooter up to 200 KM in a single charge. This information has been given by Ola Electric CEO Bhavish Awarwal on his Twitter handle.

Under this marketing campaign, customers are being given free ocher electric scooter which was brought in the market around Holi along with Ola S1 Pro. The company says that there has been a very good response for the Gerua and the deliveries of the free scooter will start from June 2022 at Ola’s Tamil Nadu plant.

Price hiked by Rs 10,000

After several cases of fire in the last few months, there is a fear among customers about buying electric scooters. Meanwhile, Ola Electric has not only re-opened the sales window for the S1 Pro, but this time the company has also increased the price of the electric scooter by Rs 10,000.

Ola has started taking bookings for the S1 Pro for the third time. Ola has increased the price of the EV for the first time, after which the ex-showroom price of S1 Pro has now gone up to Rs 1.40 lakh.

The test ride of the e-scooter is on

Ola Electric launched electric scooters in India on 15 August 2021 and now the company has started selling it for the third time which will continue till this Sunday. The company has started test rides of the EV in 5 cities across the country and Ola says that customers who have booked will be informed about its delivery on the mail ID.

The company claims that the S1 Pro can be driven up to 185 km in a single charge, while in reality it gives a range of up to 131 km. Its top speed is 115 km/h.

Fear among customers due to fire

In the last few months, there have been many cases where electric scooters have caught fire, whether it is a moving e-scooter or standing in the house. Many people have lost their lives in these incidents.

Despite this, Ola has delivered electric scooters to 12,683 customers in April 2022, with this figure, Ola has overtaken Hero Electric in terms of sales. Apart from this, Ola has become the fastest company to sell 10,000 electric scooters in the country. However, Ola has had to recall 1,441 EVs this month in view of the fire incidents.
