Soon the plans will be gradually expanded

The schemes on the common portal will be gradually expanded as a compatibility, as some centrally sponsored schemes have participation of multiple agencies. For example, schemes like Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and Credit Linked Capital Subsidy Scheme (CLCSS) are being operated by various ministries, sources said. Keeping this in mind, these schemes will be brought on a single platform in the proposed portal, so that the beneficiaries can be provided access to them without any hassle.

Portal testing started

Sources said that it is being pilot tested and all aspects are being looked into before launching this portal. State Bank of India (SBI) and other lenders are conducting this test. He said that State Governments and other institutions are also likely to incorporate their schemes on this platform.
