Indian Railway : If you work in any other city and are planning to go home on Holi, then this news is for you. Railways has decided to run some Holi special trains for the convenience of the passengers.

This month is Holi. Many people working in other cities go to their homes during this festival. To go home in the festival, people book train, bus and airplane tickets months in advance, so that there is no problem later.

But the people working in the office cannot do the planning in advance. Therefore, it should not happen to you that you may get leave from office, but due to non-confirmed train ticket, you have to cancel the plan.

In view of this, we tell you about some Holi special trains started by the government, in which you are sure to get tickets and you will not have any problem in going home.

Holi special trains between Mumbai and Ballia

Train No. 01001 Tri-Weekly Special will depart from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus on every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 7 to 30 March. Whereas train number 01002 tri-weekly special will leave from Ballia on every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday from 9 March to 1 April.

The stoppages of these trains include Kalyan, Nashik Road, Bhusaval, Harda, Itarsi, Rani Kamlapati, Bina, Lalitpur, Tikamgarh, Kharagpur, Chhatarpur, Khajuraho, Mahoba, Banda, Chitrakootdham Karvi, Manikpur, Prayagraj, Gyanpur Road, Varanasi, Aunrihar Mau and Rasra. The train will have one AC two tier, six AC three tier, 11 sleeper class and five general second class coaches.

Between Mumbai Central and Bandra Terminus

In a recent tweet from the official Twitter handle of Western Railway, it has been said that, to meet the demand of travel during Holi festival, Western Railway has started Holi Special Superfast trains on special fare from Mumbai Central and Bandra Terminus.

List of other special trains running from Mumbai

  • Train no. 09039 will leave Mumbai Central for Jaipur at 11.55 pm on 16th March and will reach its destination at 7.25 pm the next day.
  • Train no. 09040 will leave Jaipur for Borivali at 9.15 pm on 17th March and will reach its destination at 3.10 pm the next day.
  • Train No. 09035 will leave Bandra Terminus for Kothi at 11 AM on 16th March and will reach its destination at 4 AM the next day
  • Train no. 09036 Bhagat Ki Kothi to Bandra Terminus will leave Bhagat Ki Kothi at 11.40 am on 17th March and arrive at its destination at 4.15 am the next day.
  • Train no. 09005 Bandra Terminus to Bhavnagar Terminus will depart on 14th March at 9.45 PM. The train will reach its destination the next day at 10.30 am.
  • Train no. 09006 Bhavnagar Terminus to Bandra Terminus will leave on 16 March at 10.10 AM. It will reach its destination at 11.25 hrs on the same day.
  • Passengers should note that train no. 09039, 09035, 09005 and 09006 will open from March 2, 2022. Apart from this, these trains will be fully reserved on special fares.

Anand Vihar Terminal to Udhampur Holi Special

04053 Anand Vihar Terminal – Udhampur Reserved AC Holi Special will leave Anand Vihar Terminal at 11.00 PM on every Monday and Thursday from 10.03.2022 to 21.03.2022 and will arrive Udhampur at 02.15 PM the next day.

In the return direction, 04054 Udhampur – Anand Vihar Terminal reserved AC Holi Special train will leave Udhampur at 09.40 PM on every Tuesday and Friday from 11.03.2022 to 22.03.2022 and will arrive Anand Vihar Terminal at 11.15 AM the next day.

This special train will stop at Ghaziabad, Meerut City, Muzaffarnagar, Saharanpur, Yamunanagar Jagadhri, Ambala Cantonment, Ludhiana, Jalandhar Cantonment, Pathankot Cantonment and Jammu stations in both the directions.

Anand Vihar Terminal to Varanasi Holi Special

04052 Anand Vihar Terminal – Varanasi Reserved Holi Special will leave Anand Vihar Terminal at 11.00 pm on every Friday and Sunday from 11.03.2022 to 20.03.2022 and will reach Varanasi at 04.10 pm the next day.

In the return direction, 04051 Varanasi-Anand Vihar Terminal Reserved Holi Special will leave Varanasi at 06.30 pm on every Saturday and Monday from 12.03.2022 to 21.03.2022 and will reach Anand Vihar Terminal Varanasi at 01.20 pm the next day. This special train will stop at Moradabad, Chandausi, Lucknow and Sultanpur stations in both the directions.

Holi Special Trains from Delhi to Patna

04066 Delhi Jn-Patna A.C. Reserved Super Fast Gati Shakti Holi Special will leave Delhi Jn at 11.00 pm on 15.03.2022, 16.03.2022, 20.03.2022 and 21.03.2022 and will reach Patna at 03.45 pm the next day. In return direction 04065 Patna-Delhi Jn.

AC. Reserved Super Fast Gati Shakti Holi Special will leave Patna at 05.45 PM on 14.03.2022, 15.03.2022, 19.03.2022 & 20.03.2022 and will reach Delhi Jn at 10.35 AM the next day.

This special train will stop at Kanpur Central, Prayagraj Jn, Varanasi, Deendayal Upadhyay Jn and Danapur stations in both the directions.
