Rules for traveling in three tier coach

Apart from this, it also happens that the passengers of the middle berth sit on the lower berth till late night, due to which the lower berth has trouble sleeping.

Important time from 10 pm to 6 am

If this has ever happened to you too, then you might not have been aware of the railway rules. But now you can refer to the railway rules. According to the rules of the railway, you can open the middle berth from 10 pm to 6 am.

That is, if you have a lower berth, then after 10 pm, the middle berth or upper berth passenger cannot sit on your seat. You can ask him to go to his seat by referring to the railway rules. Apart from this, even if the passenger with the middle berth opens his seat during the day, you can still refuse him by telling this railway rule.

TT can’t even check ticket

It is often complained of passengers that after sleeping in the train, they wake up to check TT tickets. In such a situation, their sleep gets disturbed and there is trouble. To remove this hassle of passengers and to make the journey convenient, according to the rules of the Railways, TT cannot check tickets during the sleep of the passengers from 10 pm to 6 am. But if your journey starts after 10 pm, then this railway rule does not apply.

Ban on listening to songs without earphones

The Railway Board also receives complaints from passengers about listening to songs or watching videos in loud voice on co-traveller’s mobile at night. In view of this, the Railways has banned listening to songs or watching videos without ear phones after 10 pm. As per the rules, you cannot listen to songs or watch videos without ear phones after 10 pm. Not only this, it is also forbidden to talk loudly at night.

If your co-traveller does not listen to you, then you can complain to the railway staff present in the train for this. It is the responsibility of the railway staff to come on the spot and solve your problem.
