Kia Motor India has launched the all new Carens MPV in the market which is offered in 6 and 7-seater arrangement. The company has given a lot of advanced features with this car.

Kia Motor India has launched its all-new 6 and 7-seater Karens MPV in India with an initial ex-showroom price of Rs 8.99 lakh. The company has launched Carence in 5 variants – Premium, Prestige, Prestige Plus, Luxury and Luxury Plus.

The price of the top model of the MPV goes up to Rs 16.99 lakh. According to the competition, the company has given a lot of features to the car and its cabin is also very comfortable.

In the 6-seater variant, customers will get captain seats in the middle row, while the bench seat has been given with the 7-seater model.

MPV with 6 airbags

This is the fourth product in India from the South Korean carmaker with fully LED headlamps and LED DRLs, 10.25-inch touchscreen with Kia Connect technology, Bose sound system, ventilated seats, air purifier with virus and bacteria.

Many other features like protection and sunroof have been given. In terms of safety too, the car has been made strong and many features like 6 airbags and tire pressure monitoring system have been given with this MPV.

Competition between Ertiga and Innova Crysta

The Smartstream 1.5-litre petrol, Smartstream 1Innova Crysta.4-litre T-GDI turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre CRDi VGT diesel engine options are available with the Kia Carence.

With all these three engines, the company has given a 6-speed manual gearbox in general, while the option with the turbo-petrol and oil burner engine has been given 7-speed DCT and 6-speed torque converter gearbox respectively.

In the Indian market, the Karens will compete with the customers’ favorite Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and Toyota Innova Crysta.
