There is relief news for those traveling on e-tickets of the train. He will now be able to make 12 e-tickets every month instead of six. To prevent black marketing, the ticket making account has also been linked with the Aadhar card.
To generate an ID, a passenger has to create an account on the IRCTC site. Black marketers were also taking advantage of this facility by creating fake IDs.
Indian Railways has informed by tweeting that for the convenience of passengers and to prevent black marketing, Aadhaar card and mobile number will also have to be entered while making e-tickets. Aadhar card number will also be fed while creating the account. Now 12 e-tickets can be made in a month.
Meanwhile, it is also reported that the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) will now make travel packages for tourists from the corporate sector train Tejas Express.
IRCTC will take tourists by Tejas Express from Lucknow to New Delhi, while the flight from New Delhi will travel up to Leh. For this, IRCTC has made four packages of Ladakh from June to August. IRCTC has also started booking this seven-day package.
IRCTC has prepared a tour package from Lucknow to Leh via New Delhi. The journey from Lucknow to New Delhi will be by Tejas Express. From there tourists will leave by flight to Leh. IRCTC will arrange three star hotels for the catering and stay of tourists.
During the tour, Stupa and Math Darshan, including hotel stay in Leh, Leh Palace in Sham Valley, Shanti Stupa, Gurudwara, overnight stay at the camp located in Nubra Valley, Diskit, Hunder and Turtuk villages apart from local sightseeing and Pengang Lake The tour will be conducted by IRCTC.
For two persons staying in a hotel together, the package will be Rs 44,500 per passenger. 43,900 per passenger and 42 thousand rupees per child will have to be paid separately for three persons staying together. The booking of packages will be done on first come first serve basis.
