Kia Motors India has launched the all-new 6 and 7-seater Carens MPV starting at Rs. 8.99 lakhs, ex-showroom. The company claims that its mileage is more than 21 kmpl.
Kia has created a stir as soon as it enters the compact MPV segment. The company has launched a 3-row car at an ex-showroom price of Rs 8.99 lakh, which is beautiful to look at. At this price in India, the Kia Carens will compete directly with the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, which is the company’s best-selling 7-seater car.
Kia is famous all over the world for offering great features with its cars and the company has done something similar with the Cars. The company claims that the new carense gives more than 21 km mileage in one liter of petrol, which can be considered as its biggest feature.
19,089 bookings so far
This MPV priced below 9 lakhs will definitely see a huge increase in the sales of the company. Customers can book Kia Cares by paying a token amount of Rs 25,000. According to the information given by the company, 19,089 bookings have been received for this car so far.
The length of the caravan is 4,540 mm, width is 1,800 mm, height is 1,700 mm and wheelbase is 2,780 mm. The new car is based on the Kia Seltos, but is 225 mm longer and 80 mm higher in size than the Seltos.
Offered in 8 colors
The Carencer is offered in 8 colors which include Imperial Blue, Intense Red, Gravity Grey, Aurora Black, Glacier White, Clear White, Maus Brown and Sparkling Silver. The cabin of the car has been designed in Black Beige theme.
Features such as auto climate control, sunroof, wireless phone charging, 8-speaker audio system, 64-colour ambient lighting, front ventilated seats, 5 USB charging Type-C ports and perfume dispenser have been provided with the carence.

three engine options
The Smartstream 1.5-litre petrol, Smartstream 1.4-litre T-GDI turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre CRDi VGT diesel engine options are available with the Kia Carence.
The company has given the usual 6-speed manual gearbox with these three engines, while the option with turbo-petrol and oil burner engines has been given 7-speed DCT and 6-speed torque converter gearbox respectively.
