This policy of our govt. is ver very nice,but its very much troublesome for senior citizens like us who have crossed 75 years of age. So I feel there should be some simplications for excersizing these proceedures to give some rekief for senior citizens like us,for which we would be very much thankful.Regards.

SIR, please think about senior citizens on priority basis, as many of them including my parents are unable to physically go to banks even for their pension verification, please make some concessions for such disabled and handicapped people. Why can’t the bank people capture the aadhar details through PAN and link bank accounts with aadhar? Why they insist us to get bank accounts linked with aadhar as a separate process? I am 88+. I find it difficult to go to the Airtel office again and again. I went twice and they told me that it is not necessary for people above 80. I got it linked to one bank sccount. It will be better if the aadhaar people themselves do it to everyone who asks them. The govt. should give a list of organisations who shall be authorised to contacr aadhaar on line and know the details under some oath of confidentiality

It is a very good idea of the Goverment to use Aadhar for various purposes. However It is difficult to link Aadhar with mobile phones through Finger print identification as they fade out in most of the cases of senior citizens aged over 70. As of now, one is loaded with reminder mails everyday from banks, mutual funds etc., for the linkage, irrespective of whether AADHAR registration is complete or not. This is creating large-scale confusion.
Government must issue clear instructions to all concerned service providers to ensure that a customer is not unnecessarily asked to file the details time and again, once the submission is successfully completed.

An NGO had already filed a case in The Supreme Court of INDIA at Delhi. Since GOI has not enacted first an ACT with Rules for DIGITAL SECURITY firs, they must do that first.
Accordingly The Supreme Court Ruled that UAIDI or Aaadhaar is NOT Compulsory. The FOI TOOK UP MATTER AND THE SUPREME COURT OF INDIA modified their Ruling to say onlu where one is entitled to any Govt. Subsidies only there it can be compulsory.

Once the Pan card is linked to the Aadhar automatically the bank accounts get linked. The Aadhar card already has my mobile number, so I don’t understand what the fuss is all about, why we have to run around to all our banks, every bank has its own process. Standard Chartered simply noted down my Aadhar card number. HDFC did not accept my son’s self attested Aadhar card copy, but wanted him to fill the Aadhar number on their form and sign the form. When I sent the form duly signed they returned it saying the signatures don’t match as if money was being withdrawn. The account was opened about 15 years back when my son was a minor.
I have no problems in complying but this needs to be made a lot easier.
Even after providing all the details there continues a flood of emails and SMS’s from banks for compliance. Now started feeling harassed.

All this linking process must be available through online portal to make it ease for the common people.

KYC also has information. Why not they use this information and link them automatically instead of troubling all persons to fulfil this data compilation.
Similarly Karnataka Govt troubled all Gas connection people to supply electrical bill RR nos threatening no supply of cylinders, and ultimately, after few months , abandoning the scheme.
Such schems of linkings serves limited purpose of some pepole in power without really serving good purpose. Good purpose can be served by good planning and without unnecessarily troubling people.

This Aadhar is the same ID card against which Gandhiji fought in S.Africa. Remember Guys adhar is backdoor entry again by British . This kind of card is applicable only for third world countries.

Government is very well aware that number of the citizens have not enrolled in Adhaar. Many of those can’t even move from their bed. What are the provisions have been made who can’t reach Adhaar Centre. And more surprising that the govt. has dismissed the private Adhaar Centres. In many places the people have to struggle for getting new Adhaar card. Who is responsible for this ? I think this is total injustice in democracy.

Providing Adhaar card to every Indian is the duty of Government, but they do not have any proper way how to implement and handle the issue.

Just like GST website failure the are just going on extending the due dates foe Adhaar also.

In Tamil Nadu people use their fathers name as initial before their name.where full name insisted in an application initial is substituted with fathers name.Naming pattern differs from state to state. and the software developed by Adhaar should provide for exception to mismatch for linking the names.This will simplify the process and will save lot of time and energy.

The policy is effective and will be useful. How effective it is going to be is to been seen. Will people be really helped? Will this provide a good option for the living of the poor or will it be a means to an end for the bureaucrats and the elite representatives or party members.

Although I have done almost all the linkage, but it is quite imperative for the Government to devise some foolproof mechanism for this. The politicians generally devise a policy for implementation, may be good for the masses or the State but the officials often do not endure to excercise ease for the masses, specially old and underprivileged. This has happened in the case of Old-age or widow pensioners in recent past when illiterate old ladies had to run all the days out, leaving their livelihood for many days (having nothing to eat the whole day) but who bothers? The administration appointed some particular Bank maybe miles away and for reasons best known to them, the administration/banks asked them to change. Every time new documents were required. I think politicians are also humans and they should behave like that for the old and depressed and get things done correctly from their subordinates by asking questions and understanding the issues and best solution.

The process of linking Aadhar card with BANK ACCOUNTS , PPF, SECURITIES etc etc can be automatic once Aadhar Card is linked with PAN since PAN is already mentioned in all investments documelnts. So the process gets simplified without visiting banks etc.

Interestingly no bank gives acknowledgement /certify that the process of linking is .complete.. Even after visiting the bank, Again and again message for linking is received. Obviously one gets confused and visits the bank again to be sure that the requirement is met.

Thanks for the information on linking 6 documents with the Aadhaar number. I do not understand why everyone need to be doing this. There are millions of people who do not come under income tax nor govt. subsidies. Why to hazzel everyone to do this. Make it compulsory for those who need the benefits through the govt schemes. By the way, why linking Aadhar with the election I.D card is not mandatory? If the govt. is working towards the fare and just governess, importance should be given for linking of election I. D. along with the other documents. Hope the govt. officials and ministers will focus on the interest of the people than their own interest.

It’s actually a harassment for all people. I wanted to link my Aadhar to pan as well as UAN account. But due to name difference (just missed the middle name) I am running behind it for last 2 months & still problem is not solved. I have seen so many people just like me going mad due to this.

I am determined not to link anything until the supreme court judgement. I am aware of my right as a law abiding citizen. He cannot bring us to ransom only because we voted him to power. Judiciary is our last hope.

Aadhar was introduced as a National id card similar to SSN of US. . Later it used for transfer of subsidies like LPG to Bank Account making people to stand in Q in the hot sun. Now we are asked to link Aadhar to documents like, PAN, Ration Card, Mobiles, Bank Accounts etc, one by one. These details could have been collected while enrolling for Aadhar itself and linked by UIDAI directly avoiding hardship to common and vulnerable people.

I wonder if the all members of Lok Sabha & Rajya Sabha have linked their Aadhaar cards to various agencies? or is it just another hardship to fellow citizens?

Why don’t we link Aadhaar to the Voting Card? If somebody could explain?

It is too much of a hassle for a common man and the Govt. is rushing with dead lines which is causing too much of a stress. Please extend these deadlines and make it more humane. Please also instruct the banking channels to share the information filed with them with required Govt channels. Pl realize that most of the older generation people are not computer Savvy. So the system should draw this information from available source

Why the Government is not giving priority to linking Voter’s ID Card with the AADHAR? It would definitely eliminate any duplicacy about ID Cards.

Don’t know how far it is good for people. But it is difficult to do all these linking’s personally for the people who are staying out of country. There should be some process for the people who ever is in NRI /NRE status. these NRE /NRIs may get chance to come only for few days of vacation and they cannot spend all that time with our corrupted govt. officials, and lassie people , instead of with their families and other personal activities .

Govt should have alternate procedure to do it , without going to govt offices to do this. Because 99.99 % of govt employs & Politicians are corrupted.

All these reasons only people are interested to stay out of India, many people does not like India and its governance

All Govt.needs to do is to obtain a no objection certificate for seeding of ADHAR from each individual with each facility,and do the seeding on their own.

My daughter,s Aadhar Card is in her maiden name.She has been trying to change it to her married name.she has not been able to do so.She has tried to do it online but the relevant page never opens.Since she does not stay in the country can you please guide in this regard.

The UIDAI can linkup the Aadhaar No.to the bank A/Cs,insurance policies etc., by having the respective individual’s consent by sending a message to their mobile phones instead of everybody going to the banks or offices as the case may be, particularly giving relief to the senior citizens above 70Yrs.of age.

Nothing is return for linking Aadhar Number to Gas Subsidy. As I am loosing money since June 2017, I enquired with my respective bank, they showed it is already linked for Gas Subsidy, but the distributor showed that it is not yet linked. I don’t know anything and I could not book my Gas Cylinder till date.

More than the above, we have to link the following items:

1. All property details as per document registration number.
2. All criminal records of all convicted.
3. Voter cards.
4. All educational certificates issued by various authorities / universities.
5. All medical records where insurance policies are claimed.

I had applied and obtained my Aadhaar card when UIDAI had introduced it. My name with initials was accepted by UIDAI & accordingly I received my Aadhar card too. My PAN card, which I had obtained more than a decade ago, has the full name as required by the IT Dept.
Now I am required to link my Aadhaar card to PAN card which I tried to do so this morning. But I understand that even if there is a minor difference in the name the system will not accept it.
As I have followed the due process in obtaining both these cards the concerned departments must work out an easier way of linking the two; I am a senior citizen and cannot be me running around for making all these changes.
I trust there would be a positive response to my request & things are made easy for all concerned.

Government’s decision is correct but difficulties faced iin linking Aadhar Card with various accounts
must be addressed and solved..for example….why should linking aadhar no with mobile phones require thumb impressions again….in the case of our family consisting of majority senior citizens,
Thumb impressions are not clear at all…..we have given copies of our aadhar cards.. but do not know whether the job is done…mobile services have no instructions so far regarding such cases.
Tips regarding linking Pan and Aadhar are all based on on line linking….what about those not savvy with on -line operations….?….do we link Aadhar with pan or Pan with Aadhar….where do we go?
Govt must give CLEAR instructions in daily newspapers…covering all categories of people…literate,
Illiterate…on-line savvy…on-illiterates…..it is no use putting the common man into endless troubles..

If everything attached with Aadhar No. Then it is very easy to get all information through Aadhar. If any financial mishap happened online to any Citizen of India, can our government take any responsibility or give full compensation ?

It would be cumbersome linking AADHAAR to mutual funds when the only viable alternative to Fixed Deposits is tax-free dividends from mutual funds. So it would be advisable to exempt Senior citizens from this hassle.

Its very good to follow instructions but when it comes for applyong it ,it cannot be handle.
In large families there are various files and to manage that it is troublesome.

I along with my visited bank branch 3 times to link adhar With bank account but failed due this reason or that. This govt. done this for harassing general public. First we were harassed for getting Adhar card and now for linking.

My mother is 81 years old and does not have an aadhar card, reason being she is bed ridden, can not sit on her own and suffering from paralysis on her left hand and left leg. Her left hand is closed and cannot be open for bio metrics and she cannot be taken to aadhar centre. Can somebody guide me how can I get aadhar card for my mother or is there any other way out under these compelling circumstances.

First need to link with Voter ID. Why should that election workers maintain separate Voter ID card. Take action to add the Voter ID with this list.

Our family has not been issued with a Digital ration card till date in spite of applying. Rationing shop has has refused to issue ration for months last, stating i have to have digital Ration card. How do I link my old paper card.

Govt has made it compulsory to link aadhar with mobile number. but on the other side NRIs, foreign residents are not eligible cor aadhar so how will they link it. passport number should be equally accepted for linking mobile number.

When some rules are implemented as a general, government should think about the all states facility equally. In Assam, still AADHAAR card are not issued. How can the people of Assam will link?

What about NRI s ? What’s their dead line ? And I agree , it’s so troublesome edit senior citizens . What about senior handicapped citizens ? Is there any source for them to link these things ?

The current deadline of linking is 31st Dec, 2017 which however the government is thinking of extending till 31st March, 2017. Linking PAN with the aadhaar card is very simple now and can be done online as well.

Any good system will take some little time to show its usefulness. Aadhar will be a great success in future . Government monies paid for different schemes to Poor cannot be taken by Middle men who are lazy guys taking other people’s monies by hook or crook. More time should be allowed for common man to effect these linking . Government should set up HelpLine and offices to help people to link Aadhar. On line it is easily done. TQ.

The common man is being harassed to do work which is supposed to be done by the authorities. The government should order the respective mobile service providers, insurance companies, banks and the government departments to collect Aadhaar information of their customers and link them to their policies and phone numbers instead of asking the customers to do so.

I have linked 5 of 6 documents with Aaadhar No. The remaining one i.e. insurance policy is not applicable in my case i.e.I do not have any policy in my name.

Today I tried to link online my Aadhar card with SBI cap securities who advised their inability to communicate with UIAOI . My efforts fail ed. Also ,I could not succeed with UTI . It seems system is not user friendly and needs much improvement.

Please initiate some method of linking mobile number with Aadhar without visiting the home circle.of mobile number.. Presently it is impossible to link them without personally visiting the particular circle where the mobile number is issued, unless using Number Portability procedure thereby compulsive circle change and operator change forced.

After linking Aadhaar to all the aforesaid six sets of documents, all govt authorities and the agencies involved in such linking should cease to ask for any ID proof other than Aadhaar Cards of the citizens concerned, but this is not happening. Any updation of changes of details of the documents listed above should also require only online updation of the Aadhaar Card without further ado. However whether non-holders of Aadhaar Cards should not be harassed by seeking mandatory obtaining of Aadhaar Cards till the pending cases against such cards are disposed in favour of such mandatory requirement. Till then the govt and the agencies concerned with the linking of Aadhaar Cards with their operations/services should respect the sub judice status of such cards and observe a voluntary stay on their mandatory insistence.
