Construction of Metro Line-7 Western Express Highway and Metro-2A Corridor have been constructed near SV Road. At present, the metro will run partially on both these routes. At present, the metro will run only on a 20 km track.

After a long wait, transportation will start on two new lines of Metro in the country’s financial capital Mumbai. Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray will flag off on 2nd April i.e. on Gudi Padwa.

After the inauguration, people will be able to travel in it from Monday. On March 25, the Commissioner of Railway Safety had given permission to run metro trains on these new lines.

This is the first time after 8 years that the Mumbai Metro is starting transport on a new line. With the commissioning of two additional metro lines, the traffic problem in Mumbai will be reduced to a great extent.

With the commencement of metro rail operations on these two lines, the vehicular movement on the Western Express Highway is expected to reduce by about 21 percent. Along with this, there will be less congestion in local trains and BEST buses.

The construction of Metro 7 has been done on the Western Express Highway and the Metro-2A corridor is near SV Road. At present, the metro will run partially on both these routes. At present, the metro will run only on a 20 km track. In the second phase, the track for the next 15 km will be started.

This will be the fare

10 metro trains will be run in the first phase of Metro-2A and Metro-7. On both these metro lines, passengers will have to pay Rs 10 (mumbai metro fare), Rs 20 for 3 to 12 km, Rs 30 for 12 to 18 km and Rs 40 for 18 to 24 km for a journey of up to three kilometers. . If you compare this fare with Metro Line-1, then it is quite cheap.

This will be the route

The new corridor will be opened for common citizens from 6 am to 11 pm daily from April 3. Metro Line-2A will run from Dahisar to Dahanukarwadi. Metro-7 will run from Dahisar to Aarey Colony.

here will be 18 stations on this new line. Metro trains running on these lines will have six coaches. Metro operation will be done here in ten minutes. In these, about 10 lakh passengers will travel every day. Metro Line-7 will be Red Line, while Line 2A will be Yellow Line.
