Shivaji Sutar, Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO), Central Railway, Mumbai, on social media platform Twitter, kept passengers updated about the status of trains. Trains are running on all the corridors. Some trains on Main Harbor line are running late by 10-15 minutes.

Moderate to city and suburbsHeavy rainTweeting about the IMD’s forecast, Central Railway said that trains on Main, Harbour, Transharbour and 4th Corridor (Belapur/Nerul-Kharkopar Line) are running smoothly till 8 am on Tuesday. At 9.30 am, Western Railway’s Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) Sumit Thakur was quoted as saying that trains are running normally on Harbor Line between Churchgate to Dahanu Road and Mahim to Goregaon.
Heavy rain warning has been issued in many areas of Maharashtra including Mumbai, Thane, Palghar, Raigad, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg, Pune, Beed, Latur, Jalna, Parbhani and many more. One team of five NDRF has been deployed in Chiplun, Ratnagiri and another team has been deployed in Mahad, Raigad due to Orange Alert in the current monsoon and devastating floods of last year.
