New Domestic LPG Cylinder Rates: Amidst the impact of inflation, the general public has got another setback. The price of domestic LPG cylinder has increased. Its price has increased by Rs 50.

Domestic LPG  Cylinder Price Increases: Today (on Saturday) the general public has got another shock of inflation. The price of domestic LPG cylinder has increased by Rs 50. The increased price of domestic LPG cylinders has been implemented from today across the country.

Domestic LPG cylinder price hiked

Let us inform that the price of domestic LPG was earlier increased by Rs 50 per cylinder on March 22, after which the price of subsidized 14.2 kg LPG cylinder in Delhi reached Rs 949.50. After increasing the price today, the price of domestic LPG cylinder in Delhi has now gone up to Rs 999.50.

LPG consumption decreased

According to preliminary data from the petroleum industry, LPG consumption in April fell by 9.1 per cent on a monthly basis to 2.2 million tonnes, an increase of 5.1 per cent over April 2021. Before March, the price of domestic LPG was changed on 6 October last year.

The price of commercial LPG cylinder has also increased

It is worth noting that on May 1, the government oil companies had also increased the price of commercial LPG cylinders. Commercial LPG cylinder became costlier by Rs 102.50. After the implementation of the new price, the price of 19 kg commercial gas cylinder in Delhi increased from Rs 2253 to Rs 2355.50 from May 1.

Know that on May 1, jet fuel also became expensive. The price of Air Turbine Fuel in Delhi was increased to Rs 116851.46 per kiloliter. Earlier, the price of ATF was increased on 16 April.
