Petrol Diesel Price: Amidst the ever-increasing inflation in the country, the central government has given great relief to the people. The central government has cut petrol by Rs 9.50 and diesel by Rs 7. After the Centre, the Rajasthan and Kerala governments have reduced VAT on petrol and diesel.

Petrol-Diesel Price on 22 May: After the long-standing demand, the central government has given great relief to the people. Center has reduced the excise duty on petrol and diesel. The Center has reduced tax by Rs 8 on petrol and Rs 6 on diesel. After this, petrol has become cheaper by Rs 9.50 and diesel by Rs 7. The central government has given relief to the people by reducing VAT in petrol and diesel. After the announcement of the central government, the Rajasthan and Kerala governments have also reduced the rates of petrol and diesel.

Prices also reduced in Rajasthan and Kerala

After the announcement of Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, the Government of Kerala and Rajasthan also reduced the prices of petrol and diesel. The Kerala government has reduced the price on petrol by Rs 2.41 per liter and on diesel by Rs 1.36 per liter. At the same time, the Rajasthan government reduced VAT on petrol by Rs 2.48 per liter and on diesel by Rs 1.16 per liter. After this, petrol has become cheaper by Rs 10.48 and diesel by Rs 7.16 per liter in the state.

Prices changed after 46 days

It is worth noting that earlier from March 22 to April 6, the price of petrol and diesel was increased by Rs 10. But since April 6, these prices were stable. After 46 days, the government has changed the prices of petrol and diesel.
