Petrol-Diesel Price Today 31 May: Government oil companies have issued new rates of petrol and diesel today (May 30), according to which, even today the prices of petrol and diesel are stable. The last change in the price of petrol and diesel was on May 21, when the central government reduced the excise duty on petrol and diesel.
The government had given a big relief to the people by reducing the excise duty by Rs 8 on petrol and Rs 6 on diesel. After this, diesel became cheaper by Rs 9.50 and Rs 7 per liter in the country.
There may be shortage of petrol and diesel today
Petrol Pump Dealers Association is angry after the Central Government’s decision to reduce excise duty on petrol and diesel. Pump owners say that they are incurring a lot of loss due to the constant stabilization of oil prices and then reducing the rate.
He also says that there is no amendment in his commission, due to which the petrol pump operators will protest today. Today, about 70 thousand petrol pumps in 24 states of the country will not buy petrol and diesel from Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs).
