Petrol-Diesel Price on 20th April : Amidst rising crude oil prices, oil companies have kept the rates of petrol and diesel stable in the domestic market. There was no change in the price for the 14th consecutive day on Wednesday. On the other hand, WTI Crude was seen at $ 103.80 per barrel and Brent Crude at $ 108.3 per barrel.
The process of boom started from 22 March
The country’s major oil companies started the process of price rise from March 22 after the election results of five states. From March 22 to April 6, companies increased the price by Rs 10 per liter. The last increase was 80 paise per liter from the companies on 6 April. Oil prices remain stable in the domestic market amid rising crude prices in the international market.

In Port Blair, the rate of petrol is Rs 91.45 per liter and diesel is Rs 85.83 per liter. Here the cheapest oil is sold in the country. After the election results of five states, the rate was changed by the companies after four and a half months.
Earlier, petrol was being sold at Rs 95.41 per liter in Delhi. On the other hand, the rate of petrol in Sri Lanka, which is going through financial crisis, has reached Rs 338 per liter.
