This will affect all 18 crore customers of PNB. From the month of May, PNB has stopped giving the benefit of this discount to the customers.

This rule, implemented from the month of May, has been

said by the bank that Petroleum Marketing Companies (OMCs) have withdrawn this facility. According to information given on PNB website, Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL) has informed that oil companies (IOC, BPCL, HPCL) have given 0.75 percent discount on payment of fuel purchases at petrol pumps through digital mode. has been withdrawn. It was told by PNB that from the month of May, customers have stopped giving the benefit of this discount.

NEFT, RTGS charges also increased.

Earlier, the charges of NEFT, RTGS were also increased by PNB. This change made by the bank came into effect from May 20, 2022. According to PNB, the RTGS charges have been reduced to Rs 24.50 for offline transactions and Rs 24 for online transactions, as against Rs 20 for RTGS for offline transactions at branch level earlier.
