According to the website of Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL), IGL Connect is offering a discount of Rs 15 on PNG bills to those paying using the self-billing option from the mobile app. This means that you can avail a discount of Rs 15 per bill by doing self-billing. For this you have to download IGL Connect mobile app in your mobile.
Need to download IGL Connect App?
According to the website of IGL, usually the meter reader takes readings from the customer’s house once in every 2 months and on the basis of that the bill is generated. Through self-billing, the customer can start billing by punching the meter reading through the IGL Connect app. For this, the customer has to download IGL Connect from Google Play Store or Apple Store.
How to do self billing?
- First of all open the IGL Connect app
- Now the customer has to login to the IGL Connect app using his BP number and registered mobile number.
- Then ensure that you are e-bill subscriber on your registered email id for fast processing and bill delivery.
- Click on ‘Self Billing’ in the app and enter the meter reading (left to right).
- Now upload and submit the real-time clear picture of the meter.
- Your bill will be generated in 24 hours and its copy will come on the mail.
- You can also take a hard copy if needed.
- Keep in mind here that there is a difference of 21 days between two ‘self billing’.
- After this you will get a discount in the next bill cycle.
