RRB Group D Exam 2022: Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has invited applications for the recruitment of 1.03 lakh Group D posts in July, 2022.

Many important changes have been announced in the recruitment process before the examination to be held in the state.

There will be single stage Group D exam:

Let us inform that after the demand of the candidates, on March 10, 2022, RRB had announced that Group D

(Level-1) There will be a single stage examination in the recruitment. There will be no second stage of CBT.

Notification issued on these issues today:

Today, on Thursday, 7th April, 2022, RRB has given clarification by issuing notification on many other issues including EWS certificate and one and a half times candidates.

1.25 crore youth had applied:

Let us tell you that in February, 2019, 1.25 crore youth had applied online for this recruitment for more than 1.03 lakh Group D posts.

Here are the changes going to happen in Group D Recruitment:

1. EWS Certificate:

Earlier it was said by RRB that the financial year 2018-2019 will be considered for EWS certificate in this recruitment.

Because the last date to apply online was April 14, 2019. Now RRB has accepted the demand of the candidates.

Now RRB has told that the EWS certificates issued after the recruitment notification on the day of Documents Verification will also be valid.

2. Normalization Marks Calculation:

  • In the new notice issued by RRB, it has been told that the exam can be held in multiple sessions / shifts.
  • Whereas, Percentile Score Based Normalization Formulas will be used.
  • If two candidates get the same percentile, then the same formula will be used while deciding the merit.
  • At the same time, the right to change the formula will be with the Railway Recruitment Board i.e. RRB.

3. Number of candidates to be called for DV:

In the issued notification, it was said that the candidates who qualify PET will be called for Documents Verification on the basis of performance in CBT.

The number of these candidates will be one and a half times (1.5 times) of the vacancy. If any selected candidate included in the panel

If the JOIN does not, then that vacant post will be filled from the list of extra candidates.

RRB has made it clear in the new notice that the candidates who qualify the PET will be eligible for the performance in the CBT.

Will be called for Document Verification on the basis of 1:1 ratio only.

That is, the more vacancies there are, the more candidates will be called for Document Verification.

If the number of candidates included in the next panel falls short, then RRB will have the right to reduce the merit.

4. Merit will be decided by age:

Let us tell you that if the normalized percentile score of two or more candidates is same, then their merit will be decided by age.

Older people will be placed higher in merit. If Age is also same then alphabetical order of name (A to Z) will be seen.

5. Assistant Pointsman Name Changed:

Let us tell you that now the post of Assistant Pointsman will be called Pointsman.
