For such people whose money is invested in Sahara India, the Finance Department of the government has issued a helpline number. Apart from Sahara, complaints can be lodged against other non-banking companies and corporative societies on this helpline number.
Government issued number
The Finance Department of the Government of Jharkhand has issued a police helpline number 112 to register complaints against non-banking companies and corporative societies.
Under this, people who have deposited money in Sahara India Parivar and now want to make a complaint, they can take advantage of it by calling this helpline number.
After receiving the complaint from the people, the Finance Department will investigate this complaint with the CID (Economic Offenses Wing, Jharkhand) and then help in the diagnosis.
2500 crores of people are trapped
Crores of people’s rupees are trapped in Sahara India. On March 10, in the budget session of the Jharkhand government’s assembly, MLA Naveen Jaiswal had told that about 2500 crore people of Jharkhand were trapped in non-banking companies.
He had told that three lakh people are worried about their money, so the government should issue a helpline number. Actually, the MLA had said that through this helpline number, it will be known that whose money is trapped.
60 thousand people helpless
MLA Naveen Jaiswal had said that 60 thousand people working in Sahara are helpless. The MLA had even said that the condition of these people has become such that someone’s life can be lost.
After this, Finance Minister Rameshwar Oraon had admitted that the money of the people of the village countryside was trapped in Sahara. And people are upset with the money trapped in it.
The Finance Minister has said that Sahara is a listed company which is controlled by SEBI. A letter has been sent by the Finance Department to SEBI and Sahara chief.
Whatever complaint is being received against Sahara, the government is looking into it. The department will make every effort to rectify this.
