Air India is removing the salary cuts of employees in a phased manner due to the Kovid-19 epidemic. The company has announced an increase in the salary of all the employees and has asked to review the cuts further.

The aviation sector has started recovering with the reduction in the cases of Kovid-19 in the country and Air India is restoring the salaries of its employees in a phased manner to the pre-pandemic level.

The Tata Group-led company announced this on Friday. In the last two years, due to the restrictions imposed due to the epidemic, the Indian aviation sector has been badly affected and all the airlines in the country have cut the salaries of their employees.

According to a document released by Air India on Tuesday, the flying allowance, special pay and wide body allowance of pilots were cut by 35 percent, 40 percent and 40 percent, respectively, after the outbreak of the pandemic. The company has said that from April 1 this year, these three allowances are being restored to 20 percent, 25 percent and 25 percent.

According to the

document, the flying allowance and wide body allowance of cabin crew members were cut by 15 and 20 percent respectively during the pandemic. Both these allowances are being restored 10 percent and five percent respectively from April 1.

According to the information given by the company, the allowances given to officers and other staff members were cut by 50 percent and 30 percent respectively during the pandemic.

Now the allowances of officers are being restored to 25 percent from April 1, while the allowances of other staff members are being brought down to pre-pandemic levels. The company has said that this change will be in the salary of both regular and fixed term employees

There is no change in any other allowance at present, the

company said that there has been no change in the rates of specific allowances received by the pilots, cabin crew and other staff employees under their department. He will remain as he is in March 2022.

Apart from this, the overtime pay of the pilots has been reviewed again and for that they are being discussed separately. Apart from this, all other deductions will be reviewed in future and employees will be informed accordingly, according to Air India.
