New Delhi, Tech Desk. Vivo is about to launch its next smartphone V19 in India soon. This smartphone has been launched globally last month. The phone was supposed to be launched in India in March but the launch of this smartphone was postponed due to increasing cases of coronavirus. Now the company is going to launch it in India on May 12. However, the company will not organize any launch event for this nor will it be streamed live. On May 12, the company will release the price of this smartphone. The phone can be launched in the mid budget segment.
Vivo launched its S1 Pro earlier this year . After which it will be the second product of the company which will be launched this year. However, the company’s sub brand iQOO launched iQOO 3, iQOO 3 5G in India in February. Vivo V19 will be launched as an upgraded model of Vivo V17 launched at the end of last year. The look and design of the phone has been given much like Vivo V17. In particular, the L-shaped quad camera has been given in the back of the phone, just like the V17 . At the same time, a dual punch-hole camera set-up has been given in the front of the phone.
Talking about the potential features of Vivo V19, it can be launched in two storage options 8GB RAM + 128GB and 8GB RAM + 256GB. The mid-range Qualcomm Snapdragon 712SoC can be used in the phone. The company launched Vivo Z1 Pro with this processor last year. Talking about the camera features of the phone, a 48MP primary shooter, 8MP super wide angle lens, 2MP bokeh sensor and 2MP macro sensor can be given in its back. At the same time, 32MP + 8MP wide angle sensors can be given for selfie.
The Vivo V19 can feature a 6.44-inch AMOLED dual punch-hole display with Corning Gorilla Glass Protection. The phone’s display can support full HD Plus resolution. To give it power, a 4,500mAh battery can be given with 33W flash charge 2.0. The phone may come with FuntouchOS 10 based on Android 10. In-display fingerprint sensor can be given for security in the phone. It can be launched in two color options Mystic Silver and Piano Black. It can be priced around Rs 20,000.
